Come join us for a semester of learning and fun! Co-op is a great way for kids to make long-lasting friendships through a day of hands-on learning with fun activities and educational topics. Co-op isn’t just for the kids-parents take turns teaching and get to take the non-teaching days off! Usually, a parent has to teach 2-3 times each semester. Each semester students will focus on science, history, geography or the arts with each week having a more specific idea/topic. Parents who are teaching will be given an outline of the topics to be covered, and then they will be responsible for coming up with what they will cover on that topic. Students in Kindergarten through 8th grade are invited to participate. A nursery is provided for any parent who is teaching that day and has children under kindergarten age. Co-op is on Mondays from 9:30-12:30 at Community Fellowship Baptist Church (behind Kroger on S. Parkway). Parents should fill out a registration form, return it to CCA, and attend a mandatory meeting before Co-op begins.
