New Family Enrollment for Homeschooling

Please Read this important information:

  1. Both Parents must be Christians and active members in a Bible believing Christian church.
  2. Both parents must agree that home schooling is the best educational choice for their children.
  3. The primary teacher must not be employed full-time outside the home.
  4. Each family must pay a one time registration fee of $100.00 in June or $200 in July or later.
  5. Both parents must read a book on homeschooling.

All families who wish to enroll must attend the following mandatory meetings:

1. An introduction to Homeschooling (about 1 hour)

Each family who attends the Introduction to Home Schooling meeting may pick up an enrollment packet at the end of the meeting and schedule an interview. Packets must be completed and returned to the CCA office at least 3 days before the interview. Each packet contains a pastor’s questionnaire that must be filled out by the pastor of your church. We also ask that you read the Statement of Faith to be sure that you can agree with the basic tenets. We are made up of families from about 80 different churches from many different denominations. However, we feel that these statements are basic to the Christian faith.

2. A 30 minute family interview.

Each family is asked to sign up for an interview at the Introduction to Home Schooling meeting. We would like for everyone in the family who lives in the household to attend (Exceptions: College students, elderly parents). All students, even if they are not enrolling in CCA are asked to attend. Once a family has attended the Introduction to Homeschooling and an interview, they will receive a letter informing them if they have been accepted into the school. Only those families who receive an acceptance letter (email/phone call) should attend the Orientation session.
